New Rod?

Featured Replies

Ok here's the deal.

I have a chance to get a good deal on some rods and I'm wondering what Rod I should get.

Here is the list of the rods that I have already:

Shimano Clarus casting rod, 6'6 Med. power, extra fast action.

St. Croix Triumph casting rod, 7' MH power/fast.

No name casting rod,  6' no specific power or action, works good for spinners.

Spinning Rods:

Rapala Long cast 6'6, med/light

Rapala sportsmans 6' med

Now the question is do I go for a new spinning rod or a new casting rod?

How about a mod to mod/fast action casting rod for cranks?  This could serve as an all purpose crankbait/jerkbait/topwater rod, as your other casting rods seem to have your plastics and spinnerbait needs filled.
