Any of you own either the baitcast or spinning rods?

I've read the reviews on Cabelas & buyers seem quite happy w/ them.  I wanted to get opinions from you guys if you own this rod.

Does the XMLTi compare to any name brand rods?  

How well will the recoil guides work w/ braided line for casting distance.  It seems that recoils will have a bit more friction on the line than mono.

Is the XMLTi better suited for mono/flouro lines?
