Has anyone tried using the (Luhr Jensen) Woodchopper lure? I just bought one at Bass Pro Shop and plan on using it this weekend. I was just wondering what the best method is for retrieving it and how well they worked.

I have a few of these.  I fish it with short jerks with a pause in between.  I have also had success with just reeling it in.  When I use them (topwater hasn't been great this year around here) they usually catch larger than average fish.

I usually like to use them when they're some chop on the water.....they work great in the wind.
