Awesome Thundershad

Featured Replies

Does anyone fish with this bait?  I bought some recently but haven't used them yet.  They look very nice, and feel more solid than other balsa cranks.  The paint or lacquer or clear coat or what ever is on them is tough as nails too.  They are very similarly shaped to Bagley KB2s or Balsa Bs.  Very neat colors too, but I have found that the eyes are decals on mine, and the assembler got every one of them on a little crooked.  Can anybody report any results?

I feel those baits are about avg. with the rest of the mass produced wood baits.  Nice thumping action and are fair coming thru cover.   But I did find some baits that have to be tuned often and some that you can't tune to run straight.  For the price not a bad buy.    You will find very few wood baits that the eyes a perfectly lined up, very hard to do.

Yeah, for some reason the lopsided eyes bug me, but bass could probably care less...
