Muddy have you used the Eglass rods from Cabelas?

Thoughts?

Picked one up for 14.99 on sale.

I already have a 6'6" Shimano rod for cranking but I wanted a 7 footer for when I fish this one particular spot. Obviously I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a glass rod for cranking on one fishing pond.

Sorry i did fish the Eglass, I didnt use it enough to tell, I also got a BPS, but ALPSTER built me a crank bait rod and it is my single favorite rod. A few guys I know use those and the Silaflex, if I get a chance i can ask. They have them at Cabelas in Hamburg, I have picked em up, but my experince is so limited that I can't give you a qualified answer.

Thanks for an honest answer. I'm assuming there a two piece casting rod because they didn't hit me with any extra shipping charges.

HEAVY!!!!! You get what you pay for.  I bought one for my dad, and it's a good 2 piece rod, but after a full day throwing it, my arms get tired.  For 15 bucks, you can't go wrong.
