So, where does this rod stand in the hierarchy of Loomis blanks? I have the SHR822, but nowhere on their site does it state what kind of rod it is? Seems to be priced between GL3 and IMX.

Could be.....I have one and nothing about it really blows me away. I dont even like the color of it.  ;D  

I really like the rod, and I even dig the color. I just wonder sometimes, why Loomis isn't very forthcoming with the particulars, like they are with other rods.

I'm not real sure why they are so secretive either. I own at least one of ever series and a couple specialty rods (drop shot rod and shaky head rod) and I feel like the IMX series beats them all. I judge the blanks by what price range they are in when I notice they have something new out.

Like on the Mossybacks.....I figured it was in between a GL3 and an IMX just because thats where the price is.....right between the two.
