What is the best way to protect and preserve cork rod handles.  Thanks, hope this hasnt been asked before.

If you go into tackle making section they'll say fine grit sandpaper and cork sealer will do good

I use de-natured alcohol and a 3M green scrubbing pad to clean nasty cork. Followed by a coat of U-40 Cork seal. Works for me.
