BPS extreme spinning reel

Featured Replies

Anyone using one of these? I definately don't want to dump $100+ on a US Reel supercaster. This seemed to have a similar design, and at $39.00 I am really tempted.

I went to bps one time and asked one of the employees and they told me US reel makes their extreme spinning reel. He could be wrong.

I was really tempted to buy it but I think for the capacity they weight a little more then shimano or daiwa so I didn't get one.

I have several of them and really like them. The reels are very smooth and the drag system has proved itself on many hundreds of hybrids and some nice redfish. They are very versatile as i use them for finesse bassin to fishing in the gulf.  I do not think you will be disappointed. Plus they might still be on sale.

I caught about 20 of these on the extreme spinning reel with 12 pound test. You can just barely see the reel at my feet :)
