Price range is relatively the same, and curious to know, from those of you who have TRIED both, what your thoughts are.

I have a GLX, no IMX's , and have only had limited use with the old Legends.

Legend Tournaments are built on SCIV blanks. Although I haven't fished with them, they are intended to compete with the G-Loomis IMX line. They should be comparable. Individual tastes notwithstanding.

Here is my 2 cents. I love the Legend Bass rods. However, there are only 2 Jig/Worm rods from St. croix that would consider over the Loomis.

The first would be the Big Gulp (one piece rod) I got after talking to you. It is one hell of a rod. It is feather light, responsive, powerful. The second would be the Big Jig. This rod is a tank and is made for super heavy cover (something I dont fish a lot of here). Although I havent used this rod on the water I gave it a long look at Cabelas. The backbone is ridiculously stiff. The only drawback is that this rod felt heavy.

I own both, and I think the IMX is not only more sensitive, but balances a lot better.  They lengthened the handle on the IMX's for '08.  Not by much, but by about an inch.  Makes them float in your hand near how a GLX does.  I noticed this at Cabelas a few weeks ago...great change.  

I own both, and think they are both great rods. I like the IMX a little better.  I don't have any scientific evidence to prove that it is more sensitive, but to me, it just has a better 'feel'. Balances well and very light weight-spinning or baitcasting.  IMO, the IMX is the best 'value' in higher end rods.

Thanks guys, I was already leaning towards Loomis, but that just really helped it out. I think all my future rods will be IMX's.
