Has anyone ever fished Rick Clunn's signature series rods before? If so, do you think they are a better buy than ugly sticks? I got to get some new rods and these are the two brands I decided on. I've used ugly sticks before but not Rick Clunn's.So please tell me what you thought of them.

My buddy has one and he really likes it. Thats all I can say tho.

My dad has 2 of the Clunn rods. They are both pretty nice. Both are older and last weekend was the first time I used one in a long time. Seemed like a nice rod.

IMO the Rick Clunns are at least 2 steps above an Uglystick.

A friend of has two Rick Clunns rods and reels. He loves them. It is most definitely A better rod than a Ugly Stick.

I have one myself.  Its a 6'6" medium.  Its got to be better than an Ugly stick.  I will say to be wary of the actions.  IF you can, go to a Bass Pro and try one out.  Mine is extremely limber so I use it for crankbaits.
