Smooth as butter is what i call it

Featured Replies

I just got a new daiwa advantage 2500 spinning reel. First impressions extremely smooth i mean it is just rediculous. Great price you can find it on ebay for around 120. It has many new features

# Ultralight precision die-cast aluminum alloy body and cover

# Seven bearing system (2CRBB+4BB+1RB)

# Digigear digital gears for smooth cranking performance

# Twist Buster II line twist reduction

# Air Bail for superior strength and minimum weight

And real 4 gears seen in the steez, sol, and certate.

This reel is great for a lot of you looking for a new spinning reel.

My second reel i got when i was 7 is a daiwa ss tournament i've had it for seven years and being a kid i abuse it a little ::) still perfect.

Is smoother than my stradic mgfa. It's not too heavy i'd reccomend it to any new buyers looking for a new reel. It blows the flooger  :) supreme out the water for a bit more and much smoother than the stradic.

And most daiwa's have bullet proof bail systems and cast excellent gets my nod!

Sorry if i sound like a sponsor i was just very impressed

My Daiwa Sol 2500 spinning reel absolutely crushes my 2500 Stradic. Thinking about selling all the Shimanos and going back to Daiwa.  8-)

The sol is a more expensive reel in that case, but yeah go for it :)

Only if you pay retail.....

Got mine brand new on ebay....

FWIW the Tierra is in the same price point  as the (old) Stradic...another fantastic reel from Daiwa.

The tierra is also a great reel, but the fit and finish of the td-a edged it out.
