Bass Pro Shop Pro Finess

Featured Replies

I just got a brand new 6'9 ML baitcasting Rod the pro finess by bass pro. Has anyone used this??

hey, did you just win that auction on ebay? if so, congrats! i was going to bid against you but my bid was too low.

in answer to your question, i have the exact same rod and love it. have 17 rods and reels and, each time i go out, i pick 5-6 combinations to take with me depending on where i'm going and how i'll be fishing. this BPS finesse rod makes it each time because it is perfect for throwing the light lures when the bass are finicky. it can cast light lures very well and has a surprising amount of backbone.

yeah that was me haha..i couldnt belive that price. You think this rod would do good for river smallmouth?

river smallies? nah, that rod stinks at that...you better send it to me here in california  ;)

seriously, it's very versatile. i've caught trout using it throwing a 1/4 oz. kastmaster. i've caught largemouth from 9" to 5.5 lbs. on it throwing a variety of plastics. you'll love it.
