There was a company a the st.louis boat show i believe they were called gaffen but i could be wrong, they seemed like they had good rods, i was wondering if anybody has ever used them?

    It was probably GAPEN. The company was founded by Don Gapen who invented the Muddler Minnow fly. The company is now run by his son Dan.

    Never heard of Don, only of Dan Gapen.  They also make that nifty little Ugly Bug jig that has been a killer bait for river smallies.
