My tourny partner just bought some of this and throwed it on a night time spinnerbait setup lastnight. What i liked about it was that it was Florescent. Does anyone have any info on this line i know that it is really stiff at first and probably has to be broke in. Can any of you gvie me some feedback if this is good line or should i go with another type of braid or line for night time spinner bait? Thanks

My experience with it is limited but here it is. My buddy was throwing it last March on a redfishing trip. I borrowed his rod for about 30 min just to try the line. It casts great, had no memory, and held up well against some bruisers. I didnt notice any stiffness but I don't know how old the line was.

The big downside to it for me was that it stood out so much in the water.  If you are using it at night or using a leader, then it probably would be a good line.

I am a Sufix and power pro fan but they arent florescent.

I've got the microfuse spooled on a spinning outfit. I really like it, like you said it softens up after a few casts. I've been using it for several months and haven't had any problems. I do use a leader as it really stands out in the water but that shouldn't be a factor at night. I haven't broken it off yet. I use the 10 lb. test.

I like the "stiffness" of the line and have it on some baitcasting outfits, although I usually use a leader with it since our water is quite clear.  Very soft and supple lines are more prone to tip or guide wrap if jigging aggressively.  Using with spinnerbaits I suspect the extra body in the line may help prevent the line from fouling with the blades (compared to really soft braids), but maybe not...

Im gonna pick up some at Bass Pro Friday and see what i think i have a tourny Friday night.
