Has anyone purchased or held one of the new Nitro rods? I was thinking of trying the 7'6" ju rod. Any info, pro or con.

    I bought the 7'6" H to replace a diawa light and tough. I've been happy with it thus far. It's not an extremely sensitive rod, but I think that some of that is due to the nature of a 7'6" heavy action rod.

    I tried the one you listed and it was pretty moderate for a moderate rod. Really "whippy" if that makes sense. The bend was certainly in the middle area of the rod. Don't know if that's good or bad for what your looking for.

    Both have a good handle length.
