I got my Symtre in today from BPS. They were low in stock on them, and I orderd a smaller one. I didn't realize it would be this small. I think I'll send it back and get the Sahara. Thank's for all the help in picking out my reel!

He said they were low in stock dillweed! Just messin' with ya skillet. I've had a few beers, so why don't you throw some sausage and egg in your skillet...I'm hungry!

There are levels of spinning reels that you can select among.

For instance, Symetre's come in sizes 750, 1500, 2500 and 4000.

I like the 2500 line of spinning reels for bass fishing and have two 2500 Stradic's.

So check out the size of the reel and consider staying with the Symetre but bump up to the 2500.

And the same thing holds for the Sahara. They also come in four (4) sizes so you can select the 1500 or 2500.

I would stay away from the 4000's as they are large and they weigh a lot.

I've got one of each in the 2500 size and can't really say I've seen a difference in performance between the two. I think most people would be happy with either one.
