How good of a reel is the Cruxis 200?  I have a friend who lives in a different town than me who has one that he's only used a handful of times and he will sell it to me for $50.  Is this a decent deal?  I've only used the Curados and don't know much about how the Cruxis performs.

While it is superior (on paper in terms of features) to the Curado B, as a Curado user, you will be taking a step backward. The price however is tough to beat. The only real question is whether you want to fish with a nearly 10 oz reel.

I really like my Cruxis but I'd save the money and put it towards a new Citica E or Curado E.

I have one Cruxis and really like it. I did replace the graphite/plastic cast control knob with a metal one from a Citica though. For $50, I would get it.
