As I posted in another thread, I bought a Curado off eBay, and I needed a new rod for it, as I only had spinning rods. The manager at Gander Mountain gave me this rod for $80, brand new. What technique would it be best used for?

I would say it's a pretty good all around rod for heavier baits, especially plastics and jigs. $80 for that rod is a great deal.

This is considered Falcon's "all around rod", recommended for spinner baits, worms and jigs.

Thanks guys.  I'd heard good things about Falcon Rods, so I figured it was hard to go wrong, especially at that price.  That it just so happens to be perfect for the techniques I tend to use the most is a bonus.
