Gander Mountain rods

Guys, sorry if this has been hit on, but I have a Gander rod that I really like, and was told today by my early morning fishing partner that he thought they were made by St. croix.  Anyone know for sure?  Thanks-ff15

I don't know either but my Gander Mtn. stocks at least 3 times as many St. Croix as they do any other brand.  Maybe there's a reason.

About five years ago, the guy that does the purchasing at the Gander Mountain near me said that they were St. Croix rods. For what it's worth.

I have 2 of the gander "tournament GSX 54 series rods, they fish very similar to my st croix avids, not an avid but great rods for the money.

Straight from the local store's fishing manager.... They were made by St Croix up until a number of years ago. Now they come from a Company called ABOSS. I really am impressed with these sticks for the money though
