Found these at the local fishing store.  The bill is similar to the Aarron Martens Scrounger head.

The lure is interesting that the bill is made of a softer plastic.  It's not as stiff as a bill on a crankbait, but a bit softer.  You can bend the bill & it will retain back its shape.  I think the Scrounger head is similar, when you look at both the pics.  The Berkley version, you get 4 shad bodies w/ the pack, it retails for $3.99.  And has the Powerbait scent....stinky IMO.

I switched out the Berkley shad body w/ a Zoom Fluke instead, I trimmed the front portion, so it's not quite as long & cut it to closley match the angled head pattern on the jighead.

Haven't tried the Manic Shad yet, bought it last night.  I'll be giving it a go tomorrow, see if this thing swims good.  I've been interested to try the Scrounger when I first saw them a few years ago, but never bought.  Now Aarron Martens has brought them back, but not wanting to place an order, the Berkley Manic Shad will suffice for now.

Will post later on how the lure works...
