Who is getting a rod/reel for christmas?

Featured Replies

I was thinking of asking the wife for a Code and Cumara, only problem how do I answer what I will do with the 30 other outfits I have, any ideas?

A man and his fishing rod/reel is like a woman with her shoes/purse, you just never have enough. Not to mention you will get more use out of your fishing equipment than she ever will with those "for fancy evenings out" shoes/purse!

Only if I buy them myself...... and I might ;)

went ahead and got one last night myself (see pflueger president thread). i knew the fiance wouldnt like to spend any money on my fishing 'crap'.

im happy.  :)

I'm getting a custom made G Blank rod. Not sure if I'll have it by christmas though.

getting a new rod and reel, reel will probably be the new curado e. still trying to find the right rod

Santa should be bringing me a Quantum Tour Edition (1171) and misc. baits & accessories.  I'm not sure I've been good enough to also get a Powell or Techna AV to go with it ;). I've also heard that Christmas shopping is taking a toll on Santa's PayPal account  :)

im not getting any new rods or reels but i am getting a 55lb thrust minnkota edge bow mount trolling motor to replace my 40lb thrust. just not enough power in the 40 when its windy.
