Matt, if you make it back to this thread, I have a Daiwa TD2500 sitting here that I want a carrot for.  Got a couple of the carrot casting rods,  any suggestions for a "general purpose" rod.  I was thinking a mhf 6'9" if they make that in a spinning model. :-/

As you can tell with the casting Carrots it is all rod and not too much handle so I think he 6'7 medium spinning would be fine because the medium Carrot has the same qualities as a medium heavy Croix or Loomis imo.

Yup, my old man bought the MHF after using mine. He also put a Sol 2500 on it.
