I'm looking at buying a swimbait rod and basically to throw basically just the slammer, matts hard bluegill, TT 7inch swimbait, and others around that size. Would the 7'6" Heavy version be good enough for what i want to throw?

That rod should work.  I haven't heard any reviews for that certain rod, but it should work great for those baits from 1 1\2 - 4 ounces.  I would personally pair it with a Cardiff 300 if your on a budget or a Curado 300 if your not.  Good luck

That rod in particular is rated 3/8 to 1 oz I don't think that can handle what i want to throw.
