I have been looking at 2 swimbait rods, the Okuma and the St.croix Mojo. Anyone have any input on which would be better? Price is very similar. Thank You.

Although I've never use the Mojo, I really like the Okuma's.  For the money they are a VERY hard rod to beat.  The warranty on them is decent and it seems that a majority of the guys that start throwing swimbaits, start throwing them on this rod.  I know it was my first SB rod (7'6" H) and I still own it and use it all the time.  You won't be disapointed with it

I haven't held the Okuma, but dam the Mojo's are sweet for $90. There are few (if any) rods that you can be 'proud' of for $90-$100.

the Okumas are the "Standard" swimbait rod, lots of guys use them, especially guys on a budget.

They are rather heavy though. Then again I'm a weakling.

I've always felt like the 7'11 H is pretty darn light.
