BPS Extreme spincast combo

Featured Replies

I just picked one up in 7' m with the 2000 series reel. Has anyone else tried these out or used one?  I spooled it up with 10lb line which was the largest recommended for the reel.

I'm not a real expert, but I would think you might be better off with a 8# test line, and some will suggest even 6.  More manageability.  Others will follow with advice.

I fish a lot of tournaments and don't want to have to worry about line strength. Anyways this post is about the rod and reel not my choice in lines.

I assumed when you noted line size, you were questioning it.

Nah just making a statement. I get a little overzealous sometimes and horse fish in. If I'm pitching weightless worms and stuff at docks and brush I like to have that little extra comfort with the thicker line.
