reading a couple different subjects on what line to use  braid or flourocarbon  or a leader  my idea is i use flourcarbon  for the reason that it sinks faster  if i skip a lure or plastic under piers and boat docks that by the time the lure hits the bottom   with braid because it floats longer the bait is  5-6' from where it hits the water  before it is on the bottom   but flourcarbon sinks really fast. i catch a few bigger fish on the outer post on a pier or dock.  so i need somekind of line that sinks fast  and the only thing i have used is flourcarbon  for that reason  

I think you answered your own question! I f you are fishing clear water I would stay away from the braid! And just go with the Fluo.
