I purchased this reel a couple years ago, On account it was on sale. I think shimano discontinued production on this model and I've been having quite a bit of problems with it lately.

So, Anyone familiar with this paticular model? The line release knob ,in paticular, is giving me quite a bit of problems.

    Unfortunately we no longer have parts for this model. Go ahead and send it in and we will see what we can do. We might even offer you a replacement for a small fee.
