Revo S Brake Question

Featured Replies

I know this topic has been discussed just dont know where. But how do you adjust the braking system and how many do you leave on? What is the correct way.

Start by pushing all the plastic pins in till they click.

Typically, I only turn 2 brakes on.  You do that by pushing the pins outward.  Make sure you turn them on on opposing sides of the spool.  If that setting isn't working for you, turn all the pins back off again and then set it for 3 on.  You want to do that with the pins that are turned on in a triangular fashion on the spool.  Hope that helps.

When i bought mine, only two brakes came on from the factory. That setting worked perfect for me by just tweaking the spool tension knob.

Same here - factory preset was 2 and it worked ridiculously well.  I've been meaning to switch it 1 or 0 to see if I can get even further distance but keep forgetting.

I just switched mine, first I tried 0 but I had some trouble. Now I am at 1 and I can really fling it. I think I will keep it there.
