Wanted to get some input about this, thinking about buying one for about $30 and wanted to get a little bit more knowledge about it first

How often are you going to use it, what are you going to use is for, and how well are you going to take care of it would be my first three questions.  If your not going to get into a lot of fishing marathons, and are going to use it primarily for bass fishing, and you are going to keep it maintained it should serve you very well.  If this is what you want to spend on a baitcaster, the reel will give you your monies worth.
