Lucky Craft or Jackall

Featured Replies

I know there have been a few threads about this before. Who makes the better baits? I will choose one or the other and get a few baits.

Got 12 national championships? Nick Saban 1 national championship > Tommy Tubbyville 0 national championship

To answer your query, we all know that Lucky Craft makes exceptional lures.

As for Jackall, I am sure their baits are just as good, but for me, I will stick with the Lucky Craft brand.

Now, on the football side of the coin, the Colorado game in Shreveport will be a good game and I hope the Tide can win.  I will enjoy watching the game and since I always pull for the SEC teams I will be supporting Bama in this one.

Keep fingers crossed for good weather.  North Louisiana weather can be awful this time of year.

And now go out and help the economy and buy around $500 of Lucky Craft lures. ;D

Have you seen any stores that sell LC fat mini series? They are brand new baits. I can't find them online anywhere. Hope the Tide can win in Shreveport.

I have to say luckycraft, only because the pointer is the best hard jerkbait. In my opinion, its tied with the megabass vision 110. Throw it in the pool and the action speaks for itself. The pointer really does walk-the-dog underwater.

P.S. the thread should be called Luckycraft or Jackall or MEGABASS. I think megabass's products are way better than jackall.

I own a bunch of LC's of all types and colors and they seem to be consistent with every bait....nice paint, good actions, good hardware, very little if any tuning, etc....very good quality baits.

I heard someone on here mention the Jackall Muscle Deep cranks in the past and being a deep crank fanatic, I tried them and they are killer. Nice paint, no tuning required (so far) and good hardware. I will be buying and using the Muscle's on a regular basis. Thats about the only Jackall bait I've tried. Good news is, Sportsmans Warehouse just opened here and they carry Jackall baits so I'll get to try some more in the spring. I'll have a more accurate opinion in about 4 months.

Which colors do you like for the LC baits? Which LC catches more fish in 5 feet or less murky water? Also, what is the best finesse crankbait?

I would have to say LC because the Pointer 100 and Sammy 100 are 2 of the best baits ever made IMO...

Not to mention I have never used a Jackall or MB bait before, after reading this I might have to try and order some though...

I would say at this time Lucky Craft. I have a few Jackall baits but have not given them a fair chance yet.

LC by a long shot! ;)alot of jackall's stuff is impractical. and i have a few of their cranks and i have not caught a single bass on them, and i have used them alot. i almost always catch bass on my LC cranks, and anything else LC as a matter of fact. But i will give jackall props on some of their soft palstics.

they are both great bait companies- never be closed minded especially when it comes to fishing tackle.  I really like the LC pointers and staysees, LVs ect.  Jackall makes very nice rip baits as well the squirell and squad minnow are outstanding.  My favorite jackall bait is the flick shake worm... absolutely deadly anyway you rig it.
