Powell or Kistler?

So im trying to narrow it down to these to rod companies for my football jig rod. Im either wanting the Powell 734 which is the 7'3 Heavy or the Kistler Magnesium 7'3 MH. Can anyone tell me which rod would be better for throwing football jigs in a 1/2-3/4 ounce?

    I have fished a 7' Heavy Kistler Magnesium quite a bit as well.

    Honestly, either one will do just fine.  I am a little more partial to the Powell because it has 11 guides (compared to the Kistlers 9).  The Powells also have nicer guides as well.

    Other than that, these two rods act very similar.

    Good luck on whatever it is you buy.
