Anyone tried the Spiderwire EZ Braided line?

Featured Replies

I recently picked some of this stuff up in the 50# size. It appears and feels pretty stiff,is it because its new in the package? I havent tried spooling with it,waiting to see if its even worth doing it. Anyone have any feedback on this stuff?

It feels like Stealth and is cheaper than Stealth by $2 in the 300 yd spool. I still have a few hundered yards of Stealth left before deciding on which to purchase next unless the EZ is a replacement for it. I like the stiffer braids for throwing wind resistant lures like buzzbaits and big bladed spinnerbaits. IF the dreaded semi-professional overruns occur, they are easier to untangle.

Airborne, I have the 30 and like it. It's made with

Dyneema which is what Fireline is made with. That's

what makes it a little stiff. It's braided though and not

fused. A little use and it will loosen up!
