compre crankbait vs. premier crankbait rods

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have experience with either of these. I am looking to purchase a 7ft medium cranking rod. I have a 7 foot mh crankin stick from bass pro and I like it. I was looking for something to throw smaller cranks and spinnerbaits in the 1/4 ounce range. budget is about 100.00. If you have fished either or both, please give your input. thanks so much for the help.

If you already like the action of your crankin stick then I would get a 7ft Compre. It is a lot faster than the premier. I am in the same boat as you and going to Cabelas tomorrow to swap a rod, long story, for either a 6'6 or 7ft. M Compre. I think, IMO, that the premier is too slow for fishing spinnerbaits. The compre is a nice compromise and I like a slightly faster rod for ripping cranks and spinnerbaits out of cover. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I
