Damyl Tectan line

Featured Replies

I have been using this line for a couple of years now for my ultra light applications. I use the 9.2 pound test which is .20 mm diameter. Compare this to Yo- Zuri 4 pound at .0235 and breaks at 8.5 pounds. This line is tough, limp with very little memory, good knot strength and casts extremely well. The only problem is it is a little expensive and hard to find. Tackle Tour had a discussion about this line a while ago.

Just thought I would share this with you. If you are into the small ultra light reels you will love this line.

Cabelas sells a bunch of it. However the formula was changed a couple years ago and it's not what it once was >;)

Sorry to hear that. My spool is a couple of years old and I am looking to buy more.
