I am looking at the Quantum Code Red casting reel for my next b/c. (this is Fat-G's little bro) What is the difference performance wise between the Code Red and the Code? Thanks.

I don't own either but haver researched both, cuz I'm also looking at the Code Red.  Both have non-aluminum frames while the Code was first introduced the Code Red a year or so later.  I think the Code Red has a few more bearings than the Code.  Also the Code Red has the flipping switch, which I think is to take over the discontinued Accurist.

If anything I would get the Code Red...just wish it was an aluminum frame like the BPS KVD model, but that weighs just a bit more than the Code Red.
