I've fished it a few times now.  It is an impressive reel.  Even without cleaning the factory bearings, it blows away the Curado E7 (with clean factory bearings).

The drag has gotten tested with a few 3-4 lb. fish and hasn't been found wanting.  Managed to drag a 3 lb. largemouth out of a tree Saturday.

If you want a sub 6 oz. reel that is as smooth as butter, you could do worse.

The only bad thing is that I want more of them.   :-[

Now I'm going to question my 51Mg (wrong side, I know...) Time to start revising the 2010 budget.

So far I hadn't been sold on the idea of a new Chronarch or Core over the Curado. I thought I might just stay on the lookout for more 51Mg's.

Based upon your enthusiasm, Shimano may have produced my new ideal reel.
