I'm looking to getting either the 6'9" MH or the 7' MH LTA but wondering if the 6'9" MH has a softer tip than the 7' MH.

I prefer the 6'9" length but would like a stiffer tip than the 6'10" MH AJ Magnesium that I have.

I know how the tip is on the 2008 6'9" MH LTA, is it the same softer tip on the 2009 model?

    You might rethink getting one if you handled the new '09 LTA sticks.  They are quite a bit faster than previous models (which I like), but the increase in speed/power made the blank heavier, and they are noticeably tip-heavy.   However, seeing how you just purchased a Legend Tournament, you may not mind tip-heavy rods.
