In the recent Elite Series tournament, winner Chad Griffin noted that in days 3 and 4, he caught his limits on schooling fish with a Zell-Pop. What I find interesting is that he stated the rod he was using for the popper was spooled with 20# fluoro  :) I've always stuck to braid or mono when throwing topwater but has anyone ever tried with fluoro? Does it make an impact like we've been led to believe?

their isn't a big difference if you are working the bait fast with out any pauses, that i have noticed. But if you let it sit for a while the fluoro will sink making it harder to work the bait
