In the recent Elite Series tournament, winner Chad Griffin noted that in days 3 and 4, he caught his limits on schooling fish with a Zell-Pop. What I find interesting is that he stated the rod he was using for the popper was spooled with 20# fluoro   I've always stuck to braid or mono when throwing topwater but has anyone ever tried with fluoro? Does it make an impact like we've been led to believe?

their isn't a big difference if you are working the bait fast with out any pauses, that i have noticed. But if you let it sit for a while the fluoro will sink making it harder to work the bait
