I grabbed a perch colored Baby Wake and seriously considering another, but cant decide what color. My trip will be late nights and or early mornings.  The pond I fish is home to perch, white perch, pickeral, sunny's and pumpkins, as well as lmb's n smallies.  

Rocky bottoms, some structure and clear water with murky sections.

Live bait (shinners) kills bass over 3lbs all day long. Any Thoughts. Please.

I'd go with the shad or chart shad to give you the opposite spectrum.

thnx Koop, I've actually tried some of the reverse thinking, but it's only brought me a couple fish over 2lbs.  I throw a plastic swimbait that kills them at one of my little local ponds, I know there arnt alot of guys throwing this bait either.....so Im thinking I'll kill them here at my lil spot, nope.

Looks like they like the obvious, senkos, jigs, buzzbaits and shinners.

I love the Chartruese Shad and use my CS Wake Jr in every body of water that I fish.

hm, not sure then.. but like fourbizz the chartshad kills them in every lake I've fished around here.

The Chartreuse Shad is a beautiful color - and works anywhere!

I don't throw that particular bait but I've had a lot of success with a trout colored slammer in waters that have no trout. I wouldn't worry too much about the color, I think the action is way more important. I don't think you could go wrong with a shad/white/silver type color anywhere.

x2 on using trout colored baits where there is no trout , i have been killing them on spro 8'' wake baits in a lake/pond that has never seen a trout . but imitating a shad in shad waters will get you plenty of bass !!!!
