I know what your thinking, but for the price after TW's sale its practally a give away rod...just trying to get away from throwing my new swimbaits on a 6ft rod without seriously breaking the bank.

any thoughts?

That rod will be fine. I had the heartland glass cranking rod but it was pretty heavy. I'm sure this swmbait rod will be as well, but for $45 it seems like a good deal. If you can save up a little longer, I would get the Okuma

been looking around at them, I cant beleive I had a swimbait set-up that sat on the rack, so I sold it..Okuma Guide Select and a Cardiff 300.  Im going to pull the trigger on a rod before the sale ends on TW
