strike king's new coffee tubes are going on the market  they look real good but they claim that the actually smell like coffee and fish really like them  just wondering if anyone has any info on these new tubes and was wondering if they are worth buying  

Coffee does work very well. I actually added a coffee line of baits to my website because of the success I was having this last fall on coffee baits.  I don't know what it is about the scent, but bass do like it.  I don't know if they work any better than regular scents, but I sure have a lot of confidence in it.  

I wonder if the coffee is a taste they prefer, or just strong enough to cover up more bad tasting stuff.  Kinda reminds me of stories of drug dogs being confused by marijuana hidden in containers of coffee when dealers try to sneak them across the border...

It probably works just as good as Yum, Anise, or other scent maskers.
