Fished in high winds today and learned the importance of a sensitive rod.  I owe all the success of the trip to a sensitive rod.

How do others deal with high winds and trying to feel the bite on a plastic?

    A) Switch to a spinnerbait (or something similar).

    :) Position the boat with the wind parallel to my line(preferably at my back). Easier to keep a tight line this way, crosswinds are the worst.
