I've made up my mind on my next rod, but was curious as to thoughts on the reel.

Powell 683c with a Citica.

I know there are better reels out there, but for just over a bill, it looks intriguing.

Your guys opinions?

    The Citica has a very good reputation, and you won't go wrong with one.  The other options to consider would be the Abu Revo series and the new Orrum.  I have threee Abu reels (mine are round) and they are absolutely great reels.

    I have 4 Revos. I like the Revo STX and SX, but do not like the S. And am looking to spend 100-140 for a reel.
