Well I've finally narrowed my jig rod option to two.

Shimano Compre CPC-X70MHB (7' MHXF)

Falcon BuCoo BCC-6-17 (7' HF)

I really wish the Compre came in a 7' HF. The Clarus does, and it's a good bit cheaper. Anyone used one?

Anyway, they both have their pros/cons.

The Compre is a MH when I really want a H, but it has an extra-fast tip, so it would probably feel like a Heavy. (Is that true?) They have a great rep, and are probably more sensitive. They also have a shorter rear grip. The long grip of my rod now drives me insane.

The BuCoo is a Heavy, but I've heard some bad reviews. Also the rear grip is kinda long.

Which would you recommend?
