For the reel trade any can i trade in any reel or does it have to be a baitcaster?

The trade-in prices are not as good as they were in past years.

lots of people buy a cheap $10 zebco and trade it in instead of a old but still working baitcaster or spinning reel.

A Zebco 202 goes for $5.88 at Walmart.  It is a cheep way to get a bigger discount if you don't have a reel to trade in.

I don't think it's no Shimanos to turn in, but you can't use the discount on Shimanos AFTER you turn in an old reel.
