Guys what do you think of the Skeet Reese rods vs the Boyd Ducket Rods.  The BD rods look pretty sweet.  Does anyone out there have the SR rods?

UGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody has any production Duckett rods yet, so you aren't going to get a review.  None of the anglers using his rods in the Classic did any good.  I don't know if it had anything to do with the rods, but it doesn't help their cause.

Right no one using his rods at the classic did well.....but the fact that the the top anglers in the world were using them definately says something. I got to take a look at some of Velvick's Duckett rods and they are extremely sharp looking rods and the action on them seemed very high-tech. The microguides are obviously another great feature about them. I just got to tinker with them a little bit, not actually use them, so take that FWIW.

PPL were walking around with them.  The white rod was really cool looking.

Uglier than a cartload of crushed buttholes.

Nether of the rods have a great look but just from a technical stand point I go with Ducketts

Both remind me of those catfish rods from Walmart...

Although I'm a fan of Skeet Reese..I think Duckett's rods get the thumbs-up. Although I cannot yet speak from personal experience, from what I have read the micro-guide technology is fairly beneficial.

As for the color, I think the all-white rods look SWEAT. Full of Funk and I like it!
