I'm thinking about getting the skeet reese flipping rod. i got the jerkbait rod. i've gotta shimano castaic to put on the flippin rod. anybody got it yet?? if so tell me wat u think.

my friend bought one @ the classic used it yesterday in a tourney and complained about the rod the whole day.  said it was waaaay to heavy and awkward feeling with his quantum energy.  he said it felt like he was going to drop it the whole day. just really awkward.

It just feels good. It is my first flippin stick, but I havent been fishing that long to say that it is heavy. I think it is a quality rod. Especially for the price. I mean, how much heavier could it really be compared to some other rods.(weight wise) It is definitley solid too. Nice and stiff.
