Berkley Tactix rods

Featured Replies

Anyone have any experience with these?  I've had good luck in the past with Berkley rods but went away from them for more expensive rods.  Now I'm counting pennies as I'm sure many of us are and looking for some good quality casting rods that won't break the bank.

I agree.  Those are the rods I used to use.  I was actually looking at Lightning Rods when I ran across the Tactix and wondered if they are as good or better than the Lightning Rods.  The Tactix has technique specific rods (flippin, cranking, etc) which I like.

I have two tactix rods. I like them both alot.  I got them from a local shop for $25 a pop originally $50, berkely had a $10 off rebate.  So when it was all said and done I got $100 worth of rods for $30.  I think the guides are less that stellar, but I have no complaints that is for sure.
