Anyone else think this is one of the ugliest color schemes ever? Purple with radical looking cork. I have the older version but could not bring myself to fish with the new ones.

Would be cool for a wife/girlfriend. Hopefully they catch more fish than the 2 keepers that he landed at Clear Lake thiis week (finished last in tourney... 93rd). I'm sure he'll start tearing it up when they get back to the south.

I'm curious to see what people think about this combo.  I know it is not the best color, but if it is a good combo then I could deal with the color.  The price for the combo is definitely cheaper than piecing it out.  How does this set-up compare to the pro qualifier and just buying an XPS trigger rod?
